Continuing, spotted across the bay in front of the gray condos around 8:45, gradually worked its way out to the rip rap on the point then started working along the wall towards the sunken path way. Still present at 10:20. Large pale loon, back with an alternating striped/checkerboard pattern of light and dark, gray not black on back of neck and top of head, dark aricular patches, white face and neck, bill silvery with faint yellow tip, straight culmen gives the bill an upswept appearance more so than COLO
