Continuing bird. May have gotten identifiable pics but managed decent views at 60x through scope. Perfect viewing conditions no wind calm glassy lake and no shimmer. Not in same scope view, but COLO nearby gave good comparison looks. Noted smoother dark gray crown and nape, rounder head shape without peak in front of eye, small thin bill, clean contrast between neck and nape, noticed that it was darker around and above the eye, lacking white/pale feathering around eye as noted in COLO.
