Photos tba. Calling, fairly active and cooperative along the creek by the caution tape marked around two redwoods. Heard it farther up the creek before spotting it at the described location, as well as heard it clearly as I walked away. Could hear it as far as the Redwood Grove sign. Beautiful bird. Note that apparently the place where I saw it was a preferred urination place for a not so thrilled homeless man.
