Continuing at this approximate location as reported by a number of experienced birders. Initially seen through binoculars hopping on ground but quite furtive in surrounding grasses. Hopped up briefly into cholla and nearby bush, vocalizing briefly. Have recording. Saw in flight. Eventually landed in prominent Olive tree nearby. Roundish body with long tail; rusty crown; short beak.
