A great find by Maria C. and a rare Middlesex winter bird! It was the first bird I saw after looking at the little drainage pond just inside the wooden gate at the Glengarry entrance. Sitting 4-5 feet above the water, making frequent forays for bugs (presumably) and occasionally changing perches; dark gray above, whitish underparts with some light yellow on the lower breast, frequently flicking its tail; no vocalization; very poor distant iPhone photo. Middlesex winter bird #149 for me.
