观察细节

Conical bill, finch like, fine streaking on the crown, light eye ring, tan with brownish streaking on upper part, blakish base to belly feathers, fairly long primary projection to about half the tail length. Feeding near the horned larks, right beside the parking lot. The group way frightened off by a crow. The best view I’ve had yet, a mere 30 to 40 feet away.
