Continuing Mlodinow find, Dark overall mottled mallard-sized duck with a stippled grayish neck and cheek, dark eyeline and crown, bold upper and minimal lower edging to blue speculum, olive-yelow bill, evenly mottled uppertail and undertail coverts. The only Mallard-like trait present was a slight curl to the tail, which SM says is not at all uncommon in juveniles. Will be the 2nd state record if accepted. Lifer and Nebraska Year #355!
