*rare | separate individuals came out from behind Pine Tree Point a few minutes apart. Both seen simultaneously. Actively diving. Larger grebes with dagger-like bills with yellow most noticeable on the lower mandible and back towards the base. Darker capped appearance with a lighter check wrapping around up to the back of the head making for a pale earpatch. Duller brown neck wrapping around towards the front. Doc shots.
