A female Australian Bustard walking to increase the distance from me, and then catching and eating a large grasshopper.

Twenty-eight Bustards in paddocks by the road. Some hunting large grasshoppers, others standing in the shade. Two males in conflict - chasing across a paddock - running and flying. Video and photograph.
