Returned today and acquired photo documentation of CITE observed here yesterday, then made corrections to yesterday's checklist and species details (Wylie Rd, Fir Island, 12/6, 9:30 am). One, male CITE. Dark, reddish brown head and neck with long, black, spatulate bill. Molting plumage showing some brighter red on sides but otherwise overall reddish brown with intricate patterns provided by white feather linings. In slough with other dabblers including 2 BWTE/CITE. Flagged - Rare. Photos.
