Continuing - thank goodness for eagle eyed Eric and his chauffeur Dave. They called me to alert me it was sitting, preening in a field after about a hour or so of scoping the surrounding area. Beautiful juvenile bird with pink fleshy beak, off white neck and face, long fancy legs. Sat in field for at least 30 min at checklist location pin - I left before it did.
