Red arrow points out the Iceland Gull, blue arrow point out representative American Herring Gulls

观察细节

Large white headed gull roosting on the docks on the north side of the marine. Compared to the many AHGU, smaller bill, slightly darker mantle, slight darker shade of pink legs. A Thayer's Iceland Gull was reported earlier in the day at this location. I didn't see this bird while I was at the site but I took pictures to review later, and that is when it caught my attention.
