This species was reported from this habitat two days ago, so I was searching for it. Towards the end of my trail I spotted 5 individuals through the lens. The Gadwall’s typical orangish beak was clear. The water body was predominantly filled with Lesser Whistling-Ducks, with a few Garganeys also present. Photographs are attached.
