Continuing bird, first found five days ago, so wasn’t even really thinking about it. Same experience for me though- was in the car ready to leave when it appeared, right outside my window. Foraging low in spruces, then just sitting still for a while, preening in the sun. Was buried deep in the lower bushes at that point, so never would’ve spotted it. Photo added.
