View with scope from observation deck was much better than photos (thanks to David Bailey and Jamie Baker for pointing out bird). 2 photos show size difference compared to Herring Gull next to it. Smaller than American Herring Gull, rounder head and shorter bill than AGHU also. In the sunlight, primaries were brown with no black visible.
