Perhaps more. At least one par ranging widely from the park to lower Manhattan (assumed to be the same pair, but this may not be true), and then three birds moving north together, high. All five in one binocular field, and the two locals may have been approaching to ward the other three off. Also a single seen later on over and around Brooklyn Heights, so perhaps up to 8, but an absolute minimum of 5.
