Reworked original photo that was too dark, shot almost at dusk low in a dark bush. Photo adjusted to counteract some of the darkness.

Great bird found by Sean Hurley around 3:15. Didn’t make another appearance until 4:24 when it landed right in front of me as my cane and I clung to the bridge while others wandered. Landed right above rosehips at the eastern edge of the bridge so may return tomorrow morning. Contacted all the folks nearby but only Jean made it before the bird disappeared again. Original photo submitted last night too dark as it was near dusk and shot low in a hedge. Photo adjusted to as close to actual colour as possible in that light.
