Nikon Z8, AF-S 55-300mm DX at f5.6 1/1000 iso 400 This solo Grackle found my heated birdbat & ground feeder early in the morning and never strayed far from here all day long. It seemed thoroughly interested in the potted Aloe plants that were occupying the empty space under the BBQ, to the point I thought it might stay the night underneath it. Usually the birds only take a sop or two from the water fountain/birdbath but this guy drank at least ten separate times at the fountain throughout the day. Guess he was thirsty!
