Slate-blue head with bright white spectacles. Also highly and sharply contrasting white cheeks and throat. Underparts all white except for bright yellow-green sides and darker blotchy greenish smudges. Olive-green back (oddly with some blue coming through in a few patches. Darker green (bordering on black) wings with bright white wingbars. White edges to tertials and yellow edges to secondaries. Tail darker green, bordering on very dark gray with strongly contrasting white edges completely surrounding retrices (at least those that we could see).
