观察细节

Assumed this dark EWPE to be a WWPE (one with damaged bill reported on St. George Island). Bird in my yard missing part of maxilla: tip of upper left side broken off (see photo of left profile). Quiet "Plip" call, between a chip and a pip. Wingbars thin: from one angle whitish, from another buffy. Without photos of wingbars or primary projection, or recording of a different vocalization than the one I heard (which is shared by both species) cannot be confirmed as a WWPE.
