Continuing rarity. A chunky, slightly short tailed (compared to American) pipit. Ventrally, a whitish throat and belly with dark streaks on the upper breast. Buffy-ish flanks and lower belly set aside by very noticeable white undertail coverts. Dorsally, olive-green back, although difficult to see color while in the shade. Some fine dark back streaks only visible through a scope. The wing groupings (primaries, coverts, etc.) were the brightest green. Light pink legs. The head showed the characteristic semi-circle of buffy white bordering the auricular, with a dark spot at the back edge. When the bird occasionally wandered into decent lighting, some of the buffy tones almost looked faint orange in the lower auricular/shoulder/upper flank area. Photos taken with my primary camera, which is clearly experiencing a problem. Note the following frame, presented unadulterated and then again with heavy editing and cropping
