At their day roost. Merlin suggests these are Tropical Screech owl, but experienced Intervales guides including Betinho think these are Long-tufted. Long-tufted show a lot of plumage variation, with 3 color morphs; Merlin description gives no guidance on distinguishing them; Birds of the World notes distinguished "from wholly sympatric M. choliba by much larger size and longer ear tufts". I believe these are the same individuals roosting on the same plant as in these photos from two days earlier: https://ebird.org/checklist/S273373420.
