'flight' calls from a female-pumaged 'type 9' bird perched on top of a tall lodgepole pine in mixed coniferous forest. The bird gave these calls immediately after the male with which it was traveling flew off. The last few calls in the cut are given as it flew off in the same direction. These are somewhat atypical calls, much more complex than I am used to for Red Crossbill.
