A fairly bright individual, first seen along the fence line here, 37.44935, -122.42640, then moved around quite a bit but eventually landed on the utility wires down below the house. distinct white eye ring, pale area at the center of the auriculars. pale malar surrounding the auriculars, quite heavy streaking on the breast, rufous covert patch visible in some photos, this is not always easy to see but is definitive on Vesper Sparrow, white undertail.
