I spied this bird while scoping the other side of the lake. It had a noticeable dark mantle in comparison to the nearby Ring Billed. It was also bigger than ring billed. We drove to east side of lake and approached the bird for better looks and pics. Dark mantle, yellow bill with red gonodeal spot, yellow legs. Pale eye. Light outer edge to secondaries in flight.
