观察细节

Lifer! I heard them first, then saw a couple of them fly into a tree shortly after. I never saw more than three at a time, but they seemed to be all over the place. There are a bunch of strong contenders, but this is still the most clearly unmistakable life bird I saw here. The green body, black and blue head, and green and yellow tail are unlike anything else. By far the most common calls I heard from them were their long-running chatters. These series of rapidly repeated, raspy yaps would regularly last over five seconds and frequently only have a half second break before continuing on again. They came at a rate of between six and eight yaps per second, but this rate wasn't always kept perfectly constant.
