Ball field. 3 moving as a group foraging on the grass. At first I only saw Palm Warblers and Savannah Sparrows on the field, but then noticed 3 slightly bigger birds, kind of elegantly moving in distance. I slowly got closer and happily confirmed Identification. Pale grayish brown & slender looking bird with thin bill, streaked breast, wing bars. They occasionally flew up calling when people walked across the field but always came back to the field while I was there. Pipit was one of the birds I was hoping to find so it was pretty exciting to see them.
