Popped up immediately to pishing- perched looking at me for almost a minute- typical behavior I'm used to in Texas. Chocolatey blackish brown upperparts with wing bars and underparts whitish with heavy streaking and partially formed breast spot. Dark crown, long blackish eyeline including lores and rearwards almost to nape. White superciliary and white stripe parallel to superciliary below black eyeline, emphasizing dark eyeline. Blackish malar, white throat.
