Pale headed juvenile, came right into the boat and lazily harassed a few terns before moving off. Goes to show how deceptive light can be - bird showed big underwing flash and fairly bold upperwing flash as well as warm overall tones, primarily due to the bright sun reflecting off the water and overemphasizing some marks. Looking at photos showed all of the above an illusion lol. Photos coming
