*very rare; third eBird record for Monroe County and nice to get as a county bird following missing the Edgemere bird by about 10 minutes last spring. Adult male first reported by homeowner yesterday. Clutch spot by Nick about a minute before he had to leave for work. Bright yellow body, black back and wings with two yellow/white wing bars, reddish wash on head, chunky pale bill. Photo.
