Longer tail than Baikal Bush Warbler with less sharply contrasting under tail coverts pattern; wing length 55 mm. tail length 56 mm outermost primary 4mm longer than longest primary covert. Longest under tail covert approximately the same length as the shortest outermost rectrix. Lower mandible pale greyish flesh; no spotting on throat. Buffy brown wash on flanks and sides of breast/
