Shortly after arrival, two separate individuals seen within about 5 metres of the pipeline trail on the Eastern side, approximately where the checklist marker is placed. One flushed before it was spotted, the other stood partially hidden behind some rush/sedge type plants until we exited the vehicle. Managed some flight shots before it landed and disappeared (to be uploaded when I get the chance). A third bird was seen flying SE from over the embankment behind the gate at dusk.
