Originally found by Karin Menz, who pointed them out to Jeffrey Pyskaty, who sent me a photo for ID. Resting along the south bank of pond and at one point flushed by a semi, but immediately returned. Flushed a second time for some unknown reason and gave their squeaky toy call, but again flew back in to same spot. Photos and video. Unique looking long-necked duck with pink legs and bright pinkish-orange bill. Cinnamon upper with black lower body separated by white flank stripe. Bold white wing bands seen in flight
