Observed by several birders on three separate visits to the tree where it has been reported nest building. The first two sightings included carrying small twigs to the nest site. The bird is gray on its crown with a black stripe through and behind the eye area. The bill is much larger than on Eastern Kingbird-longer and thicker. The throat, breast and belly are white. The back and tail almost all gray, with no white tip on the terminal end of the tail.
