Continuing. Thank you Ben for letting me borrow the bins for a good look! Thank you Tim for the scope views and digo-scope opportunity. Thanks Steve for tipping me off about this bird. I had no idea and was lucky minutes away. Snake-like bird, poking head up from under water. Slithering up a willow tree from the water. Flapping wings occasionally. Took a brief lap around the pond from one tree to another before settling into the water and tree by shore. Lifer!
