An adult Gray Heron was observed accompanying a sub-adult perched high in a rain tree, more than 20 feet above the ground. Later, a young heron was seen perched on a large tree trunk within the lower canopy, about 8-10 feet from the ground, sheltered by thicketed branches. Another sub-adult was spotted on a large, island-like boulder, likely in search of food. The presence of these young herons strongly suggests that they are nesting in the trees along the Mula River, either on the Pimple Nilakh side or the PMC side of the river
