A number of sparrows flushed from the roadside weeds and disturbed ground. It was an overcast morning but I noticed white outside edge tail feathers on one bird. I took a couple of photos and after reviewing with another more accomplished birder, Larry Lewis, we are certain that it is Vesper sparrow. White eye-ring and facial pattern mark it as such.
