观察细节
See marked-up park map screen grab. Green shading is everywhere we observed or heard the bird (which uttered its thick, flat chip/“tick” note almost constantly, regardless of whether the local passerine flock was nearby). The red “trail” basically linking the benches on either side of the dense tangle provided the best opportunities to view the bird, often very closely. An irrigation hose runs along the length of this path. The trash can by Cypress Pond was the second best viewing area, and the bird was directly above the main trail here at one point. We did not have the bird near the wooden footbridge. The warbler fell silent and thus became undetectable for the last half hour or so of our visit.
