Incredible. First record for Cocha Cashu and potentially lowest elevation record in eBird (~340 m) — suggesting altitudinal migration? Individual perched at eye-level in a tree fall gap on trail 27 - 875 m (-11.8717748, -71.4103664). Adult male with black cap, dark green mantle, wings, tail, and contrasting bright yellow throat, chest, and belly. Managed to record a passable iPhone video, but lost sight of it when trying to digi-bin. Sang three thin, upsweeping whistles in response to playback, but never came back into view.
