观察细节

At 46.977N and 124.710W, about 3.5 miles from the location of the morning WISP. Moderate numbers of FTSP were also present, the WISP was flying with a few of them providing direct comparison. In close comparison with FTSP, the WISP was noticeably smaller, 10-20% smaller. It had broader based wings and a somewhat more fluttery flight. Blackish body with a bright white rump that wrapped around onto the flanks. It paused over slick areas on the water several times, hovering with dangling legs. Photos TBA.
