Little gull in front of a bonapartes mirroring each others head to show off bill and head pattern differences

Small short legged gull sitting amongst the BOGUs. Bill black and shorter and sharper than BOGO. Dark eye patch and faint blurred cap. Covert/mantle light grey compared to BOGO and legs darkish orangish/black. Non breeding plumage 2nd winter bird as on review of photos see retained black tail feathers. In flight dark under wings molting. Photos taken
