This recording was done right at the water's edge of the Skeena River and the mouth of the Bulkley River. Two does were chasing the plover. The little plover flew within 5 m of me then went upstream of the Skeena. It called twice then disappeared out of hearing range as I recorded its flight calls.

I got a few photos of the plover, Then two dogs re-appeared after they had chased Thayer's Gulls away from the mouth of the Bulkley. The dogs began chasing the plover. The little plover flew within 5 m of me then escaped upstream of the Skeena. It called twice then disappeared out of hearing range as I recorded its flight calls.
