**Mega; first confirmed SPSK record for Bristol County and the first mainland record for southern MA. Note Marshall's first skua sp. county record back in 2018 https://ebird.org/checklist/S46986342. First picked up around 9:10am in my scope distantly on the west side of the tip, heading directly for me. Identified instantly as a skua, with its strong flight style, chunky build, dark plumage, and distinctive white wing patches. Made some short deviations from its initial flight line before cutting behind me and flying directly over the tip! After passing overhead, it continued eastward into the bay, making its way further out towards the islands. Had MAE and JSE on the phone for almost the entire time it was in view, but unfortunately, neither of them was able to get a clear view from their respective vantage points (MAE at Demarast Lloyd, JSE at Allens Pond).
