In the 2nd photo, prey is being carried in the bill. In the subsequent photo, it has been transferred to the talons. I'm honestly not sure if the prey had been transferred from one bird to the other. But the prey's legs are long and, with the apparently white fluffy body, I think it may be a Killdeer chick.
