Continuing but MIA for some time. Scaly, long-tailed ground dove in the company of two Common Ground Doves. Characteristic shaker sound in flight. Moved around in several of the plots at the S end of the 5th row back from the road. Started here: 32.5562630, -117.0858807 At one point the INDO did the rapid-hop display towards the female CGDO, whether this is aggression or a sexual thing I have no clue, but I've seen MODOs do this.
