观察细节
I was unable to visually observe this bird as it sang in the near vicinity of a dickcissel and Henslow's sparrow, but it sounded to me like a Sedge Wren. Merlin also called it a sedge wren, but I do notknow if Merlin can distinguish between sedge wren and dickcissal. Merlin recording to be added in Media. The picture of sonogram seems to match the sonogram of Merlin's sound library. After viewing ~10 Merlin id of SEWR it seems the id is first based on the 3 higher frequency intro notes; 4-8 kHz. DICK intro is lower intro 4-6 kHz? that I can hear. The trill following intro is usually 6 for this SEWR while the DICK was usually 3-4 kHz at slower cadence. Comp with Xeno, all about birds and several auk articles seems to give a good match for this (these) bird being SEWR. See the third sonogram below in particular. Note my hearing per recent test starts to become inefficient at 6 kHz. File wav 4 below is longer sequence with ~10 song sequences for SEWR [At ~ 1.5, 10.1, 19.4, 21.5, 27.5, 33.4, 42.4, 47.9, 55.7[8 part follow up after three intro notes.], . Note that many songs seem to stimulate a nearby song for HESP, COYE, DICK< RWBL and SACR.
