continuing. made three visits to the feeders while Michi and I were eating lunch on the deck: bird A came twice, but bird B made only a single visit. added here is a short Merlin recording from later in the afternoon (15:47) of the distinctive churring call, given by bird B, that frequently is my tipoff that a RHWO has hit the yard. interestingly, Merlin has not (yet?) been trained to identify this call.
