General Climate: Cyclic wet-dry. Season: Dry. Spontaneous utterance while we were standing in the dark waiting for the Lont-tailed Potoo to sing. At first, assumed to be an owl but vocalization has a quality not unlike the Bamboo Rat. Its proximity to us also favors a mammal. Habitat: Rainforest, Evergreen Forest, Deciduous Forest.
