**Rare. Single bird foraging at tops of sycamore and maple along Edgemere Drive near Williams Point (Exact location: 43.2850911, -77.6661026). Near Myrtle, Palm, and Yellow Warblers, but never directly associated with any. Silent. Fairly Setophaga warbler shape, but with a noticeably long bill. Gray above. Pale below. Face with a bold black patch on cheeks continuing onto sides of breast and then as streaks on sides. Bright yellow throat and upper breast framed in black. Broad white line above the eye with yellowish lores. White eye arcs. While subspecies are apparently clinal, this individual seems consistent with dominica, with yellow in the lores and a fairly long bill.
