At first, King Quail snoring call is heard, then the typical cry call before it returns to the snoring call. Brown Quail are also heard calling. From 0:41 to 0:51, Red-backed Buttonquail can be faintly heard - that bird was calling from within 10 metres of the King Quail, which was within 10 metres of me. You'll have to turn the volume right up - and then the quail calls will be really loud. Other birds include Yellow-faced Honeyeater, New Holland Honeyeater, Spotted Pardalote and Little Wattlebird.

At first snoring calls heard, then the clear downward “phweear” calls. Audio recorded. At one point KQ, RBBQ and BQ all in same recording.
